Konsertti nauhoitettiin 27. heinäkuuta 1986 Népstadionilla Budapestissa The Magic Tour -kiertueen aikana. Queen teki historiaa ensimmäisenä länsimaisena rock-yhtyeenä, joka soitti stadionkonsertin Rautaesiripun takana suuria kulttuurisia ja poliittisia muutoksia leimanneena aikana.
Vain kuukautta myöhemmin yhtyeen kiertueura Freddie Mercuryn kanssa päättyi legendaariseen konserttiin Knebworth Parkissa 9. elokuuta 1986.
